It’s 6:30am I am getting up and getting Tate ready for school. This is the day after a big tornado hit Ellen-wood Ga. A friend of mine text me and said that the storm hit them. Thank God they made it out alive, actually everyone did. But their house had very little damage and the homes around them lost top floors. You got to know this is God. Right?!
So I go out on my balcony to check the temperature for the day, to let Tate know if she should wear a small jacket or not. As I open the door, rounding the corner from the left side of my house, is this very large bird!! Not sure what type of bird it is? Is it a pelican? No. Wow!! I watch this blue/gray bird with a wing span of at least 4 feet, a long bill, long feet, and a curled neck tight to the body glide like a kite around the back of my neighbors house in front of me and on down the street into a tall pine tree, and out of sight. At that moment, I catch a glimpse of God’s greatness in this beautiful flying bird.
What does this mean? Where did it come from? This is a bird that doesn’t live inland. Is it because of the storm?! Is it lost? Does it live in the trees in my neighborhood, on my street? What do I make of it? What should I make of it?I run back in the house, and ask Tate, “Do you have a book on birds in your library?” She finds a book, actually a children’s magazine on animals. I look at the cover and open to the first page, and what do I see? “That’s it, that’s it Tate, that’s the bird that I just saw fly by! What are the odds?
If I look closer and really take a moment, I can definitively say, the Creator is showing me this is my time, my time to spread my wings and fly, to soar solo, to fly to uncharted territory. God Almighty made this time just for me.

I had the urge to hear the song passion today while @ work. I Googled your name and song and got one better the video! This piece takes me back to a period of strength and much expectation. I was producing live concerts and events in Caribbean at the time. The only sister (Jersey girl) producing A1 live outdoor under the stars concerts. I have since transitioned into Motherhood and in my second act in life. I am grateful to see you continue to soar with your new works. Listening to the bright colors in Passion confirms my reemergence to event production. I look forward to booking you. Thank you for depositing your gems through song they are life sustaining.
